Entry Description

F.E.T. or Female Engagement Team is a sustainable womenswear collection inspired by female service members and dedicated to Kent State Alumna Ashley White, the first woman to die in combat. Through the use of up-cycled military uniforms and sustainably sourced textiles and trims, this collection is 99% sustainable and continues the tradition of domestic production used in creating military uniforms. Hand-cut motifs, pattern manipulation, and dye techniques are also used to complement the accessory and garment construction of this collection and help to portray the message of feminine strength.
