Entry Description

SMU's SOL is a distinctive, high density city campus building. Its uplifting spatial quality and well-articulated form belies severe restrictions in height and land size in relation to its space requirements. It is a key urban connector and a major contributor to the transformation of the Armenian Street area. We imagine the School of Law as a distinctive landmark with a strong civic presence, embracing the greenery of Fort Canning Park while retaining the essence of SMU as a city campus. The SOL is a Green Mark Platinum rated building and Enginnering Innovation Award recipient.
