Mūn

OEO Studio designed an addition to Mūn for Stellar Works, a lighting collection which juxtaposes the masculine and industrial with the feminine and poetic. The name Mūn, meaning moon in Japanese, is directly linked to the subtle soft curved shade that has been the inspiration for the name of the collection. Mūn rechargeable is lantern designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The Mūn rechargeable lantern is fitted with a sturdy silicon strap that makes it easy and flexible to use around the home and garden.

Founded by CEO Yuichiro Hori, Stellar Works is the first leading global contemporary furniture design brand from Asia. Established in 2012 as a partnership between Hori and luxury French manufacturers Laval, Stellar Works is based in Shanghai with a global distribution network, offices worldwide, and collaborations with the world’s most respected designers. The Stellar Works’ factory incorporates a specialised furniture design atelier where traditional craft techniques are preserved within the manufacturing process.
