Entry Description

The lamp is inspired by Icelandic nature and ice crystals. A lamp is constructed out of four transparent PMMA plates, two of which are coated with the dichroic foil. LED light bulb in the lamp minimizes the electric power usage making it long-lasting and ecological. The use of the material is minimal which makes the lamp incredibly light. Due to their for Due to their form, lamps can be installed in a myriad of different combinations, in apartments as well as in public places, hotels, etc. Except for the hanging version of the lamp, there is also a desk version.

Bio

Karla Kocijan is an industrial designer from Zagreb, Croatia. In 2019. she graduated from the School of Design - Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb. She has participated at different design festivals as Design week Zagreb, Design district, Plan D... She works as an interior designer. In her free time, she does graphic design as well as production design and scenography.
