Wild design first proposed by Heshan Huang is a ubiquitous phenomenon in China’s daily life. It refers to the design solutions created by ordinary people that often bends the rules, and its essence is to use the least material to overcome the contradiction between huge social needs and limited resources. Inspired by Huang’s exploration, the project aims to create close narratives for these wild-designing object through humorous visual languages. This is an ongoing project which I had made a poster and four animations by now and aiming at more animated interpretations.
