Entry Description

As COVID-19 cases skyrocketed in NYC at the pandemic’s onset, di Domenico + Partners was retained by the Governor’s Office and the Javits Center to take quick action, providing design and construction build-out services for a temporary hospital that could ease pressure on the strained NYC healthcare system. The hospital’s design followed strict medical compliance while creating a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere for a wide range of patient needs. By providing 4,000 additional beds to NYC, the Javits Center Temporary Hospital provided greater peace of mind to a city steeped in uncertainty.
