Bio

Angela Rodriguez is the founder and award-winning Principal Interior Designer of Space as Art. Growing up in the Philadelphia area, Angela trained as a fine artist from a very young age. Eventually, her growing passion for the innovative restaurant design she saw in her hometown inspired her to free her artwork from the two-dimensional confines of paper and canvas and build her career in creating all-enveloping experiences through the design of physical space.

After graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design, academic honors, and several design awards under her belt, Angela went to work for some of the world’s top Architecture and Interior Design firms. There, she gained diverse and valuable experience in commercial and hospitality design throughout the United States, Latin America, and Asia.

In 2009, Angela fulfilled her dream of bringing this global, professional experience to her own design studio, Space as Art.

Angela is licensed by the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design, a professional member of the International Interior Design Association, and has earned the designation of LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional by the United States Green Buildings Council. Angela enjoys working with clients on all types of projects to “create space as art, places, as destinations, and interactive experiences that ignite the senses.”
