TINA: the tampon insertion aid

The applicator tampon has not been redesigned in over 90 years, since it was originally patented by Dr.Earl Haas. Millions of people struggle to insert tampons because of their physical abilities and/or body size. TINA, the tampon insertion aid, is a reusable assistive aid that clips onto off-the-shelf tampons and facilitates insertion for people with disabilities and obesity. TINA eliminates the need for dexterity and makes insertion easy and clean, ensuring that the tampon is inserted to the right depth every time, adding a few extra inches of reach, and featuring a V-wedge for easy removal.

TINA Healthcare is on a mission to develop inclusive menstrual products for every body. Our first product, TINA: the tampon insertion aid, is a reusable assistive device that clips onto off-the-shelf applicator tampons and facilitates insertion by making the process dexterity-free, consistent, and clean every time. TINA was originally designed for people with disabilites, limited dexterity, and obesity.
