GARDE has renovated a traditional townhouse, the "Former Banke Residence", into a hotel. The main point of this design was to provide guests with the experience of a traditional Kyoto townhouse and the traditional atmosphere cape of Kyoto, where there is an abundance of historical architecture and culture.We used its expertise and modern technology to enhance the former Banke residence, a very valuable traditional building, while preserving its former beauty to create optimal renovation.
