Entry Description

This series was made by Che-Kuang Chuang and Bo-Jun Lin. It was inspired by Wagner's Opera - The Ring of the Nibelung. There are 3 works in this project: Valkyrie Brynhild, dragon Fafnir and Siegfried. Based on the story narrative, the designer used lots of Viking elements and Amazon style to show the beauty and power of Brynhild. As for the evil dragon, Fafnir, which was deformed from the human body to emphasize its distorted characteristics. All visual elements and artistic anatomy have been specifically studied and chose, Ultimately became the beautiful result.

Bio

Che-Kuang Chuang(莊澤光) is a Taiwan-based designer. His works contain a wide range of architecture design, sculpture, illustration and concept design. Che-Kuang Chuang has strong interests in form manipulation and now he has finished his master degree in University of Applied Applied Arts Vienna(die Angewandte, Austria, Graduated with distinction) and staeted his own career.
