The Metaphysical Museum of Reality aims to make The French Broad River Park in Asheville, NC, a node that connects the city to itself and to the rest of the world. To achieve that, I started exploring the intersection between architecture and technology. By contrasting how we interact through the Internet and how we interact in the real world, I realized that by overlaying a virtual space on a physical space, one could be inside both the virtual world and the real world simultaneously, thus generating an experience that transcends the visitor into a metaphysical state.
