The suites are arranged in introverted neighborhoods and have private yards with pools and mediterranean plants. The neutral colors and natural materials inside the suites increase the sense of relaxation.
Is an award winning practice founded by Ilias Mastrominas in 1984. Several years of experience in hospitality design with major hotel complexes portfolio, have led to publications and distinctions in Greece and abroad. The practice has made the architectural design of the awarded project Casa Cook Kos. The firm’s main objectives are functionality, adaption to the environment, sustainability and the creation of aesthetically simple yet timeless forms. Today, it operates both in Athens and Kos, with a group of young architects aiming to transmute the firm’s significant experience into new ideas.
The practice has won for Casa Cook Kos: Special Mention in German Design Awards 2019 (Architecture - Excellent communications design), shortlisted for the AHEAD Europe (five fianlists), the Prix Versailles 2018 (European winner special prize for an exterior architecture - hotels category), the international Design Awards (IDA) 2017 (bronze –commercial buildings) five prizes in Hotel Design Awards 2017, the audience prize Hotel Design Awrads 2017. It has also been shortlisted in Hotel Design Awards 2016 for "Astir Odysseus". In 2016, it won the 8th (for Diamond Deluxe hotel)and the 10th (for Carda beach) places in the ranking for the ten best hotels of the tricenial in "30 Years KTIRIO Magazine competition".
