IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Final Deadline November 30, 2024
The main element of my collection is a rhythmic pattern of repetitive cording, and the extending proportions of layering from smaller scale to the bigger because the only way forward, obviously, is growth and the movement, and that’s something I am trying to poetically weave into the design language. I am majorly influenced with a pair of swans (one of the images from my storyboard), which takes me into the mood of contentment and ultimate freedom. I have used ivory silk organza and developed my own textile by using 400 metre cording and pin tucks repetitively.
