Nevertheless captures my reflections on resilience. As a human trait, resilience is often difficult to detect as it is found in small individual acts that take place over time. To capture this complexity, I utilized a minimalist, academic design comprised of monospace typefaces and the clinical use of negative space. The design also reveals a more emotional inner voice through handwriting and evocative imagery. The overarching purpose of this work is to showcase the phenomenon of resilience and inspire people to look inward and recognize the strengths they have when faced with adversity.
