Avantika Malhotra's SS24 RTW capsule collection is an extension of her previous work 'Whispers in the Current'. It delves into the enigmatic depths of the ocean, symbolising both comfort and fear. The collection has a vibrant colour palette of blues, purples, and bright yellows, coupled with flowing, sheer fabrics and original print designs. This elevated ready-to-wear experience harmoniously merges comfort and beauty. Inspired by the ocean's multifaceted essence, mirroring the dynamic nature of the sea while ensuring wearers feel an inherent connection to the spirit of the ocean.

Avantika Malhotra is a New York-based fashion designer Her work investigates the relationship between self and world; inviting the viewer to connect with the intangible emotions that govern us.

Coming from the intersection of two rich cultures, born in Mumbai and raised in Hong Kong, Avantika’s work embodies a merging of diverse influences and design sensibilities. Fostering a sense of unity, and using fashion as a tool to highlight experiences that belong to both the personal and collective realms, she strives to prompt dialogue and conversation through her designs.
