April 2022, we began the design of the signage system for the project of YCIS. The client requires that the signage system must be integrated with the brand culture of YCIS, and be suitable for children of different age groups. By interpreting the core concept of YCIS, and combining the traditional cultural ideas of the Book of Changes and the "the Round Heaven and Square Earth", we decided to use“square”as our basic design element. So we created a signage system using pixels and blocks for teachers and students in YCIS, which will bringing them a sense of community and strength visually.
