Our idea for designing D Sign was to create exclusive furniture, like a signature, for the Dalan boutique hotel in Isfahan. Our chair design was inspired by the form of the Dalan (corridor-shaped alley with arch) where the hotel is located at the end. The form of this chair is derived from the perspective of the consecutive arches of Dalan, where the rays of light present in it signify hope and brightness after darkness. The shadow of this chair complements the empty spaces in it and continues the path of Dalan. The cream and gray colors of this chair are taken from the bright shadow of Dalan
