HOUSE S

This is a housing plan for a parent and three children. To create a rich and functional space on a limited site, the three-story residential volume is divided into three plates that give rhythm to the facade and elegantly wrap around the perimeter wall of the site. Carefully positioned gates and walls ensure privacy from the line of sight around the site, while creating a rich, inviting middle section that is softly connected to the external environment, allowing natural light and air to flow through seamlessly and enhancing the sense of openness and tranquility within the home.

Nobuaki Miyashita is the CEO of MR Studio Co., Ltd., a leading architectural firm based in Tokyo, Japan. Specializing in redefining spaces, he directs his team to deliver innovative and user-centric architectural solutions across a variety of building types. His designs focus on harmonizing with the environment, aiming to create spaces that not only resonate with users but also enrich community life.
