Designed for an extended family, Catchacoma cottage is comprised of three volumes at different floor heights, following the natural grade of the site. Family and guest wings flank a central space where friends and family come together. Steeply sloped rooflines allow clerestory windows and ample natural light, as well as access to a loft above the kitchen. The layout prioritizes curated views to the surrounding forest at each turn, enabling a continuous connection to the landscape. Maple is prevalent in the interior with accents of Greystone, charcoal and a cold rolled steel fireplace surround.
