Amazingly Inspiring New Work Environment for Google
in Tel Aviv

In December 2012, Google Israel has opened its
spectacular new office in the prestigious Electra Tower
in Tel Aviv, including breath-taking views across the
city and the sea. In order to create a working
atmosphere which is a true testament to Google’s
unique culture and values, the architects have
conducted in-depth researches before starting with
their design.

The new Google Office in Tel Aviv represents a new
milestone for Google in the development of innovative
work environments: nearly 50% of all areas have been
allocated to create communication landscapes, thus
giving countless opportunities to employees to
collaborate and communicate with other Googlers in a
diverse and inspiring environment.

There is a clear separation between the employees’
traditional desk-based work environment and
communication areas, granting privacy and focus
whenever required for desk-based individual working
and a vast variety of amazing spaces for successfully
collaborating and sharing ideas.

In line with Google’s other offices worldwide, each
floor is designed with a different aspect of the unique
local identity, illustrating the diversity of Israel as a
country and nation. Each of the original themes were
selected by a local group of Googlers who also
assisted in the interpretation of these chosen ideas.

In addition, the Googlers were also looking for an
environment designed with their rich culture in mind.
With food being deeply embedded within the local
culture, Google Tel Aviv offers a wide variety of food
choices by the means of three amazing kosher and
non-kosher restaurants.

In order to nurture the local start-up community, one
floor is designed for temporary use as a ‘Campus
Space’ to provide small local start-up companies with
an original start-up like work environment.

The Google Office Tel Aviv was awarded with the LEED
Platinum certification, the first of its category in Israel.
