Swarm Theatre Pavilion

Theatre is the art that gathers individual bodies and unites them in beautiful moments. As an art form it is unique in its methods of establishing a vibrant and live relationship between crowds and performers. It is an intellectual forum encompassing a vastness of individual flair and expression, as well as containing the capacity to engage the masses.
Swarm Theatre draws upon the notion of this ‘collective’ experience. Taking inspiration from the phenomenon of swarm intelligence, it’s architecture draws inspiration from natural processes, such as schooling and flocking. These natural phenomenon express a conglomeration of individual bodies that form a single engaged entity.
