Siemens Beijing BSCE Office involve in fire services and security product manufacture and production. While after year’s development, Siemens determine to have a brand new design of the Demo Room in order to foster a professional image and presentation to their potential clients. The whole Demo Room is divided into several functional zoning including the sample display wall, poster image area, presentation and video broadcast zone ... the design need to cater for the special feature of each area and yet to blend all area into a holistic and integrated design and image. The design would like to introduce a reception vestibule for the Demo Room to act as a transitional space for visitors to prepare a series of presentation and demonstration. This reception backdrop wall is designed with a world map showing the Siemens major office location to bring out the spread of Siemens business across different continents. A green wall leading one from the entrance wall to the world map with embedded Siemens slogan of SMART, this bring an environment concern of Siemens, in parallel to the technological exploration. All these articulation would like to foster a forward looking image of Siemens to every visitor. The demo room is divided into several sectors in U shaped configuration, naming intelligent household design, overall smart building and the presentation area. All display areas equipped with sliding panel to show Siemens product and services diagram. Actual products are housed in the niches behind the sliding panels. Visitors can have a look of the products after go through the services diagram. In the centre is the presentation area with projection and video broadcasting. All lighting, video and audio are smart control by Siemens, which carefully integrate such technology product into our daily life.

About Designer

DPWT Design Ltd aims to explore new possibilities in different design realm, including Architecture, Interior, and Product design and blending the different domains in a synchronizing state. It has been manifesting design realization in architecture and interior projects in a thoughtful process and balances the aesthetic and functional values. Each project is being treated as an individual expression of some hidden human sensitivities /perception. DPWT Design Director-Arthur studied architecture in University of Hong Kong and received his Master of Environmental and Sustainable Design in Chinese University of Hong Kong and Master of Fine Arts in RMIT University. His works is widely published in London, Italy, Australia, and throughout Asia in Singapore, Malaysia, mainland China and Hong Kong. He was invited to feature his works in 1000 architects in Australia. He engages in different overseas and local exhibitions and currently a Doctor of Fine Art candidate in RMIT University. DPWT has office in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
