As the name of this project suggests, Malaysian Festive Packaging Collection intends to convey the reminiscence of hometown during the annual Malay New Year Celebration, namely Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The packaging box is not only a gift set given to Malay people, but also serve as an educational material to enhance understanding of traditional culture of Malay people among all Malaysians.
The strongest part of design is that it carries great impact and brings big influence along with it. The role of a designer is to influence the public through our design incorporated with cultural elements, gradually changing their mindset to accept new concepts and to appreciate traditional culture.
