Entry Description

Hollænder Genever is a fictional series of Norwegian Genever. Hollænder means Dutchman and as the name suggests the packaging tells the story of its birthplace. Hollendergata (Dutchman’s Street) is an old, scruffy neighborhood found in Oslo’s old town with old ties to Dutch shipping that goes back hundreds of years. While the text serves as a norwegian homage to the street’s rich history, the design elements balances minimalist, conceptual Scandinavian design with ornamental dutch, baroque elements in a new and refreshing way that captures the contrasts and unusual background of this Genever.
