Entry Description

Pneumonia kills 920136 children under the age of five around the world in 2015. Sub-Saharan Africa accounts for half of these deaths. Though the situation is very serious, less efforts have been done to improve it because of its poor economy, healthcare system and education. Measuring the times baby breath within one minute is the easiest and accurate way to test if the baby has got pneumonia at home. This Pneumonia Detector uses the concentration of CO2 baby breath out within one minute to more easily and visually clear inflect how many times he breath to detect if the baby has got pneumonia.
