Entry Description

The Weeping Time Memorial Center is a place to commemorate and remember those who suffered during those days back on March 2nd & 3rd of 1859. The Weeping time is known as the largest slave auction ever occurred in the United States of America and it happened in Savannah, Georgia, exactly where the site is located.

The proposed design for this location consists of a place that serves to remember the history that happened in that place and, for the community of West Savanians. A place of remembrance and unity for the people that live around the location of this tragedy.
