Entry Description

M2 Art Centre in Hangzhou, China, originally a wedding dress display space, now hosts photography, exhibitions, and events. Formerly a fitness club with a sunken pool, the design team creatively uses irregular curved surfaces to maximize space utilization. This unique design aims to enhance interaction and dynamics in the tall narrow space. SpActrum, the design concept, prompts reflection on women and marriage choices, hoping M2's spatial experience inspires self-awareness and self-care, challenging preconceived notions.
