The project proposed to design for a Floating Community Experience Complex to raise the public
awareness towards rising of sea water level by an active approach to ‘live with water’. In the complex,
there is an Exhibition Center for general information, a Water Entertainment Center for a day experience
and some Accommodation Suites design for overnight experience of living on water and a Floating
Bridge design for the link from land to water.
Site Location : Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter in Hong Kong which is the historical and famous water community in Hong Kong. Trying to promote and reactivate the floating community culture for public.
Public can experience from an hour indoor exhibition center to a day for outdoor water enterainment and finally an over-night in-and-out experience in the accommodation suite.
