Blue Telescope developed Anatomical Family as a centerpiece exhibit for the Konya Science Center, the first institution of its kind in Turkey.
The exhibit presents the anatomical systems of a man, woman, and child as projections mapped onto life-sized silhouettes of the three figures. The projections animate to show the basic functions of six human systems: skeletal, muscular, respiratory, digestive, nervous, and circulatory.
At touchscreen stations surrounding the projections, visitors can select systems, learn more about individual organs, and trigger special animations such as nerve impulses and muscle motion.
The distinctive presentation intrigues visitors entering the gallery and invites them to explore the surrounding exhibits to learn more about human biology.
